Hazelnut Bacon Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

½ cup chopped bacon
½ cup chicken or veggie broth (fat free, low sodium)
12 cups thinly sliced Brussels Sprouts (about 2 pounds)
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. Hautly Grated Parmesan
½ tsp. freshly ground pepper
3 Tbsp. chopped hazelnuts, toasted

Directions

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, reserving 2 tsp. pan drippings. Add broth to pan, bring to a simmer. Add sliced Brussels sprouts. Cook 4 minutes or until
tender but crisp, stirring frequently. Add salt and pepper, toss gently to combine. Sprinkle evenly with bacon, parmesan and toasted hazelnuts.

Note: Increase bacon, hazelnut and parmesan quantities for a heartier dish!
